Who is Patrycja Popiołek?

Patrycja Popiołek
I am a graduate of the Jagiellonian University. I studied Teaching Polish as a Foreign and Second Language as well as Comparative Literature.
I have also undergone pedagogical training and gained teaching experience mainly working for a few language schools. Currently, I am teaching Polish to Collegium Civitas students. It is a private university located in Warsaw. I have participated in a research project called ‘Zagraniczny język polski – zagrożenia dla jego transmisji’ organised by the JU. I am an examiner during the State Certification Exam of Polish.
It is my calling and passion to be a teacher of Polish as a foreign language. I enjoy working with people. There is always a friendly atmosphere in my class that helps to learn effectively minimalising effort.

I had several Polish teachers since I moved in Poland and I must confess that so far Patrycja is the best of all! Every lecon with her is an opportunity for open talk and practice. She adapts to your level, she is kind and patient, and very profesionnal! She wrote her own manual hence she s perfectely mastering the progress of every lecon, divided in several activities assuring you a real progress after each of them. Every end of lecon is dedicated to a conversationnal Part with open questions which is key to develop’day to day talk knowledge with Polish natives! I can only recommend you to enjoy learning polish with Patricja!

If you want good and easygoing results in learning Polish you need the right teacher. So Patricia is. She is intelligent and delicate, her ability to listen attentively to her students is perfect. I have both experiences of studying offline and online and I can say they are comfortable with Patricia both. I always have a good mood and I’m full of energy after our lessons. We speak about different topics, compare our culture backgrounds and share our thoughts. Patricia has modern approach to studying her students and it’s interesting to learn new words and work on grammar with her. I can’t imagine a better teacher for me and I advice her for you 😉.
